The Nurturing Tree Family Resource Center provides information and resources on raising children from infancy through teenage years. The Nurturing Tree offers a wide variety of community based and prevention focused programs and activities to strengthen and support families such as Love and Logic parenting classes, Parents as Teachers Home Visiting, youth development programs, social supports, family activities and parenting resources. Car seat safety checks, safe sitter classes, and take-home learning kits are also offered. (406) 377-7515

 

Great Falls, MT

Alliance for Youth, Inc. promotes and processes referrals to Circle of Security and Nurturing Parenting programs. The group sessions provide support that help parents deal with everyday stresses and meet the challenges of parenting.  Parents will be linked to existing community support groups and services. Individual counseling sessions may be conducted in office or in the client’s home. As appropriate, families are referred to home visiting programs that support and assist expecting and new mothers in their homes. (406) 268-6432

Peace Place provides practical support and hope to families who have children with medical diagnoses and/or developmental delays. Peace Place offers respite care and parent resources that reduce stress and strengthen family relationships, so that at-risk children do not become victims of abuse and parents can embrace their caregiving roles with joy. Peace Place is FREE to qualifying families, licensed by the state of Montana, and fully accessible. Peace Place services include part-time childcare for young children who have special needs, parents' nights out, parent play dates, and after school care. (406) 590-4925  

 

Kalispell, MT

The Nurturing Center provides comprehensive support, education and resources to families in a way that focused on empowering parents to build stronger families and healthy, happy children. The facility in downtown Kalispell reaches out as a resource to the entire Flathead Valley community as well as Flathead, Lake, Lincoln, and Sanders counties. The Nurturing Center’s programs are designed around the Six Protective Factors that, when present in a family, can eliminate or greatly reduce the risk of abuse or neglect and have been found to be essential in keeping children safe, happy, and healthy. The Parenting Place is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is the prevention of child abuse and neglect through strengthening families. Our goals are to help families develop healthy parent-child relationships, to improve the futures of our children and ensure healthy families. The Parenting Place offers respite care, parenting classes, support for families impacted by incarceration, and home visitation programs. Additionally, The Parenting Place has trainings for professionals including ACEs Presentations and Darkness 2 Light (child sexual abuse prevention). (406) 728-5437
