The role of the Child Care Licensing Program is to regulate and monitor child care facilities. Additionally, the Program establishes guidelines for the health, safety and well-being of the children in these facilities. Surveys are conducted annually and all complaints are investigated

Proposed Changes to Child Care Licensing Rules

Proposed Notice for MAR 37-959 is proposing new Rules and amending many Rules pertaining to child care licensing.  Please read the Proposed Notice to find the proposed changes and rationale explaining why it is necessary.

  • A Public Hearing is scheduled on October 28, 2021 at 1 pm via Zoom. Please see the Proposed Notice, Page 1, on how to access the Public Hearing. Data, views, and arguments can be given orally or in writing at the hearing.
