Per the Food Code, MVH can only accept food from a food source that complies with the law. Food prepared in a private home may not be used or offered for human consumption in a food establishment.

Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator or Recreation Department if you are part of an organization that would like to provide food for residents over the Holidays.

Food items brought in for specific resident consumption by family members or friends of the resident should be covered, labeled with resident name and dated and in disposable containers. There is limited facility storage space available and perishable food must be discarded within the food code established time frames if not consumed.
Yes. The Montana Veterans Home is currently working through the waitlist. Applications are accepted and encouraged.  Please see the “Admissions and Referral Information” link for the Admission Coordinator’s contact information for any questions or to inquire about admission and placement on the waitlist.
