Montana Recovery Residence Registry
As of October 1, 2023, alcohol and drug recovery residences operating within the state of Montana must comply with the requirements of Senate Bill 94, passed by the 2023 Montana Legislature.
SB 94 requires recovery residences to register with the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). A list of the recovery residences in operation throughout the state is included below, including their locations and any applicable certifications. This list will be updated as additional recovery residences become certified.
DPHHS recognizes certifications from the Recovery Service Provider Directory and the National Sober Living Association (NSLA). This site will be updated in the event additional certifying organizations are added.
For questions about this list, including registering recovery residencies, and the criteria for certifying organizations, please do not hesitate to contact DPHHS Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Prevention Bureau Chief Jami Hansen at (406) 444-3055.
