Treatment Provider Information
Residential Treatment provides care for individuals struggling with a substance use disorder. These facilities are located throughout Montana and are owned and operated by multiple state approved treatment programs. The “Recovery Homes” serve either adult men or women who need a structured, safe, and drug-free living environment. All homes promote life-long recovery skills, work skills for gainful employment, and assist residents to transition back to independent living in the community as a recovering individual. The Non-Hospital Inpatient Residential Facilities provide 24 hour Medically/Clinically Monitored Intensive Inpatient ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) 3.5 and & 3.7 care. All facilities focus on withdrawal management, medical stabilization, and a highly structured environment to assist in the develop recovery skills. The application process: Fill out the forms completely and fax or mail to appropriate address for specific facility. The selected facility will contact either the referral source or individual seeking treatment to set up a screening interview. Depending upon the need of the referral, the screening interview will be either in person or by telephone. If the referral and facility approve your application, an admission an admission date will be set. Selene House - 8 - Female
The Selene House is a Clinically Managed Low Intensity Residential Facility in Kalispell Montana for women who have a substance use disorder and require a structured, safe and drug-free living environment. Operated by Gateway Community Services, the Selene House combines individualized substance use disorder treatment with skills in transitioning back to independent living in the community during a 6 month stay. Eligible applicants must be a resident of Montana, be at least 18 years of age, fall below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, be capable of obtaining employment while residing in the home and meet clinical criteria for ASAM 3.1 level of care.

The Carole Graham Home is a level 3.1 residential treatment home in Missoula, Montana. Carole Graham Home provides evidence-based recovery support and education, ongoing mental health and substance use treatment, life skills coaching, parenting classes, and 24-hour holistic care. This home specifically supports mothers in early recovery from substance use disorders and their children over a 12 month stay.

Montana Chemical Dependency Center
MCDC provides intensive in-patient treatment that cares for the disease of addiction including withdrawal management for substance use disorders and treatment for co-occurring mental health disease.
MCDC provides the highest level or most intense level of treatment for addictions in the health care continuum funded by the state of Montana.
MCDC engages with all community partners who provide and support addiction and recovery services to continue the life long journey of recovery.
Interdisciplinary teams composed of physicians, nurses, treatment technicians, addiction counselors, mental health therapists, care managers, and administrative staff.
MCDC has 16 treatment beds for men, 16 treatment beds for women and 16 beds for withdrawal management.
MCDC Follows ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine Guidelines) for a 3.5 and 3.7 level of treatment.
MCDC is not a suboxone or methadone clinic / treatment provider.
*MCDC does not take walk-in patients. All patients are referred from an outside provider who is a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) and must go through the application process.
