Time Studies

October is flying by and I just wanted to thank everyone for adding the time study commitment to your daily duties for WIC. I have received a few time studies from local staff that work part time and have completed their October work hours. You may turn in your time study early (if possible) any time your work hours are completed for October. Please send time studies to Bernadette no later than November 5, 2012.

Disappearing Nutrition Risk Codes

When CPA-assigned nutrition risk codes are added, SPIRIT removes the system-assigned codes. For the work around to correct this, click here.

WIChealth.org Will Be Launching Changes

On Wednesday October 24, 2012, WIChealth.org will be launching some changes. They expect everything to go smoothly, but if you have questions from participants, it may be due to problems with the launch.

No Kid Hungry Texting

Montana No Kid Hungry is looking for opportunities to provide WIC agencies with mini-grants to support innovative outreach strategies to increase participation.

Also, if one agency is interested in being the test site to trial texting software for a year, MT No Kid Hungry is interested in purchasing the software. With almost everyone having a cell phone now, texting can be an efficient and effective way to book appointments and/or send appointment reminders.

Express your interest before November 5, 2012. Send all letters of interest and questions to Lisa Lee at llee@mt.gov or call (406)444-3518.
