October Time Studies

Here we go! October is a time study month and today is the first of October. Please track your WIC work hours and remember as October ends, the time studies are to be submitted to Bernadette no later than Monday, November 5th, 2012.

Retail Update

Last week, all WIC authorized stores were sent a packet of WIC materials. The packet included a fresh set of Retailer Booklets, an updated Retail Reference Manual, an updated set of WIC approved shelf tags (which includes Enfamil Prosobee), a "We Accept WIC" window/door decal and the fall edition of the Retail Newsletter.

Helpdesk Reminder

The help desk is still getting some calls about the loggingoff.txt file. We would like to remind everyone to please wait for the blue “W” to disappear before logging off Windows.

Outreach Idea for October

Have you or your staff recently visited local Thrift Stores/Second Hand Stores, Homeless Shelters, Food Banks and Churches and provided them with posters and outreach brochures? Potential WIC participants could be using these resources, but not know about WIC!

The Montana WIC Program is working with the Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry campaign to increase awareness of nutrition programs and to reduce the number of hungry children in Montana. To learn more about No Kid Hungry, visit their website mt.nokidhungry.org.
Thank you for your ongoing outreach efforts!
