Recall of Half Gallon Silk Light Original Soymilk

Silk Light Original Soymilk is not a WIC approved food because it does not meet the WIC requirements. You still may want to alert your participants to the recall due to a cross contamination with almonds. The recall notice does not mention Montana, but because some stores receive products from North Dakota distributors, you may want to post the notice.

Just a Couple of Interesting Items on Breastfeeding Promotion

The first is from the Field Museum in Chicago's The Brain Scoop. This video entitled "The Breast Episode Ever" is a short interview with an anthropologist about breastfeeding throughout time. The second is a Yahoo! Shine article about a student project by two graphic arts majors at the University of North Texas that created posters for a breastfeeding in public campaign. Even though the campaign wan not created for an actual advertising campaign, it has created quite a bit of coverage and discussion on Facebook.
