Risk Factor 114- Overweight or At Risk of Overweight

As some of you have noticed, assignment of this code in M-SPIRIT has changed recently in that the system is now assigning it for infants with a linked mother whose BMI meets the definition specified in the code. In the course of this change we did find an error with the code being system assigned to 6-12 month old infants whose mother does not meet the criteria. Until the bug can be fixed, we have reverted back to CPA assignment only for the 6-12 month old infants (0-6 month olds will continue to be system or CPA assigned). CPAs should be familiar with this code and when to assign it for infants and children based on parental BMI parameters. Please call (406) 444-5923 or email Kate if you have any questions.
