Final Recommendations of Steering Committee
On December 15, 2006, the Steering Committee of the State Planning Grant for the Uninsured submitted its final recommendations to Joan Miles, director of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. The document provides the committee’s guidance and advice on how the department can promote accessible, affordable, high-quality health care for all Montanans.
The recommendations were developed after numerous meetings of the steering committee and with the benefit of public comment.
The document is intended to help the department and others in the health-care system with long-term policy development, not to provide specific recommendations for the 2007 legislative session.
