If you lock up or get kicked out of a mainframe session, you will need to restart your session and log back into the mainframe. When you get as far as the Supersession Main Menu, where you select CICS, you'll need to check the status column on the far right side of the screen. If it says Active, type a "T" next to CICS and hit enter twice. This will takedown your session that was running before you got locked up. Then you can just select CICS as usual and you should be working fine.
