Montana Centenarian's Program
The Governors Advisory Council on Aging recognized Montanan’s that are 100 years of age or older, centenarians, at their 39th annual conference May 22nd, 23rd and 24th in Helena.
The theme of the conference was: The Many Faces of Aging. Montana’s 2000 census showed that we had 162 centenarians and it is estimated by 2025, we will have over 3,000. By recognizing our eldest of the elders and honoring them we hope to raise the public’s awareness of the baby boom generation which is turning 60 years old this year.
