MONTANA SENIOR EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
The Montana Older American Community Service Employment Program is a training/employment program for low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55 years and older. The program provides subsidized, part-time work experience for a limited time through community service to obtain the skills necessary for permanent employment. Participants in the program learn new skills and talents, or enhance existing ones, through valuable work experience and other training to become competitive in today’s workforce.
The Community Service Employment Program is funded under Title V of the Older Americans Act. It is administered by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services through Experience Works, formerly known as Green Thumb.
