Elder Montana Advocacy
Formally Montana Silver Haired Legislators
Montana's Elder Montana Advocacy (EMA) is the senior's voice of our state, we draft bills and resolutions and then present them to our elected state lawmakers. To date, EMA formally the Silver Haired Legislature has enjoyed over an 80% passage rate of their legislation by Montana's Legislature.
We need to keep this up by letting the Legislature know our concerns, and that means we need local, EMA advocates. Our agenda is very simple: a training session is held; the bills and resolutions are written and then a 1 day legislative session is held to pass and prioritize our bills and concerns.
