Adult Immunizations

Immunizations are NOT just for kids! No one out grows the need for vaccines. The specific immunizations you need as an adult are determined by factors such as: your age, lifestyle, location and type of travels, previous immunizations, and any high-risk conditions. Whether a young adult, middle-aged adult, or senior citizen, we all need immunizations to keep us healthy. Throughout your adult life, you need immunizations to get and maintain protection against vaccine preventable diseases.

What Vaccines are you needing?

Human papillomavirus (HPV): For women 26 years & younger
Pneumococcal disease: For adults 65 years & older & adults with specific health conditions
Seasonal influenza (also known as the Flu): Recommended for anyone who is 6 months or older.
Shingles: For adults 60 years and older
Tetanus, diphtheira, & pertussis: One booster dose for adults up through 64 years & for adults 65 years & older who will have close contact with infants & have previously receive the Tdap vaccine
