Food & Consumer Safety
Study Group
Purpose
The DPHHS Food & Consumer Safety (FCS) Study Group is made up of approximately 11 members consisting of county sanitarians and DPHHS staff. The group meets on a regular basis to discuss and direct DPHHS-FCS in the following:
- Assist DPHHS with prioritization of the review of statutes and rules
- Provide input to FCSS for development/revision of policies and procedures
- Provide input to FCSS regarding sanitarian training needs
- Assist FCSS with preparation of annual reports
