Description and Training Details

In order to complete the training, please first watch →"Asthma in Montana: Student Stories" ← (please note that this is a large file and may take some time to load) , a 5-minute presentation.

After that, complete the →pre-test← (about 10-15 minutes). You will be led to a page where you can read through "Creating Asthma Friendly Schools in Montana" and the  Montana Code Annotated 20-5-420.  This should take about 30 minutes.

Next, you will watch the "Creating Asthma Friendly Schools in Montana" presentation (20 minutes) and complete the post-test (15-20 minutes). Please note that the presentation is a large file and may take some time to load.

Note: We recommend that you complete the training in one sitting. You will be unable to review your answers once you have submitted them; the program lets you go back, but does not save your answers such that you can view what you entered.

After successfully completing the post-test, an OPI renewal unit certificate will be sent to you. One OPI renewal unit will be awarded upon the successful completion of this course. In addition to the certificate of credit earned, a hard copy of “Creating Asthma Friendly Schools in Montana: A Resource Guide” will also be sent to you. Successful completion may require you to re-take the post-test, in the event that you have more than 3 incorrect answers, or if your short answer or short-essay questions require clarity. In order to reduce the chances of having to re-take the test, please answer the questions carefully and fully the first time. If you have any questions regarding the training, please contact William Biskupiak.
