Pharmacy Consults for Montana Residents
Not available until spring of 2008. This portion of SB324 is for citizens of Montana to receive pharmacy consultation by licensed and credentialed pharmacists. The Department of Public Health and Human Services has partnered with the Skaggs School of Pharmacy at The University of Montana and various stakeholders to create this program whereby citizens can sit down with a licensed pharmacist to discuss their total prescription needs. This pharmacist can look at all of the prescriptions that the client may be taking and look for possible drug interactions or make recommendations for a more comprehensive viewpoint for the client.
