Glasgow Field Office of Public Assistance has new address
The Glasgow Field Office of Public Assistance (OPA) is now located at 630 2nd Avenue South, Suite C after moving last month. The telephone number remains the same at 406-228-4022.
“We’re excited to be in our new office and always eager to serve new and current clients,” said OPA Field Operations Manager Leni Loendorf.
The Glasgow OPA serves several thousand people living in Valley, Phillips and Roosevelt counties.
In Montana, there are about 40 OPAs located in communities statewide. Through these local offices, individuals apply for assistance and are determined eligible for Medicaid, Healthy Montana Kids, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. These programs are considered safety net programs, providing a service to thousands of Montanans.
Montanans can also apply for these programs online by visiting apply.mt.gov.
The states’ OPAs are under the direction of the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). DPHHS receives federal funding from U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Both DPHHS and the USDA are equal opportunity providers and employers.
