Montana Businesses Honored for Worklife Wellness Leadership
Numerous Montana businesses and organizations were honored for their commitment to wellness programs recently by a coalition of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS).
The Montana Worklife Wellness Coalition honored 19 award winners at the 3rd Worklife Wellness Conference in West Yellowstone on May 21, 2008.
Over 140 conference attendees were on hand for the presentation.
Award recipients completed an application and were awarded after a review of the submitted materials.
This year bronze and silver awards were given out. Each level of award stipulated quality standards that applicants met in areas such as management commitment, wellness interventions, tracking systems, measurement of outcomes and leadership.
The award winners were varied, but included seven from municipal or public school entities. “That representation really demonstrates a strong effort to improving the health of our towns, cities, schools and citizens,” said Chelsea Fagen of the Cardiovascular Health Program for DPHHS.
The following 13 organizations received Bronze Awards:
- 3 Rivers Communication
- Beartooth Hospital and Health Center
