Public Meeting to Focus on Needs of People with Disabilities
A public hearing focusing on the needs of people with disabilities will be held Friday, March 3, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. via videoconference in eight Montana cities.
The meeting is sponsored by the Statewide Independent Living Council and the Vocational Rehabilitation Program of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS).
The purpose of the forum is to allow people with disabilities to share their comments and suggestions regarding vocational rehabilitation and independent living services provided by the state. The comments will help both programs evaluate their services in an effort to best meet the needs of consumers.
The hearing will be held simultaneously at the following eight videoconferencing sites around the state:
Billings: Montana State University-Billings, 214 North Broadway, first floor conference center
Bozeman: MSU, Engineering and Physical Sciences Building, South Seventh and Grant, Burns Center, Room 126
Butte: Montana School of Technology, 1300 West Park Street, ELCB, Room 225
Great Falls: Great Falls College of Technology, 2100 16th Avenue South, Room B-133
Helena: DPHHS, 111 Sanders Street, lower level auditorium
Kalispell: Flathead Valley Community College, 777 Grandview Drive, Learning Resource Center, Room 120
Miles City: Miles Community College, 2715 Dickenson Street, Room 106
Missoula: University of Montana Gallagher Building, corner of Arthur and Eddy, Room 104
