2008 Legislative EMS Audit
In early 2008, the Legislative Auditor requested a peformance audit of Emegency Medical Services in Montana. An audit assessment was conducted and it was determined that an audit was feasible and warranted. At the same time, the Children, Families and Human Services was conducting a study of of the issues and challenges involved with providing EMS. The Legislative Audit Division developed audit objectives and subsequently coordinated efforts with the study whenever possible.
