Montana EMS System Reassessment
June 21-23, 2005

In I991, a team of EMS experts visited Montana to conduct a State EMS assessment and make recomendations about improving Montana's EMS system.

Now, 14 years later, we asked them back to conduct a reassessment of our EMS system. The team was provided with a briefing document which describes "Where We Are", 'Progress on the 1991 Recommendations' and 'Future Directions' in ten areas. Numerous individuals from around the state made presentations to the team about their thoughts and ideas on the briefing document and about issues pertinent to EMS.

A final report of the team's observations and recommendations is provided below. This report provides additional information for the EMS Task Force, EMS Plan and for our office to implement future workplans and projects.
