CNAs/HHAs will be able to apply and renew their certifications on-line within the year. In anticipation of this, the Montana Nurse Aide Registry will no longer be sending cards to CNAs/HHAs as of January 31, 2012. Verifications can be printed through Licensee Lookup
Applications
- Renewal Application
To avoid a lapsed certification, CNAs and CNA/HHAs must renew on or before their expiration date. There is no grace period. These forms are to be filled out, printed, signed and dated by the applicant and their employer prior to sending to the Nurse Aide Registry. If your certification has expired, your options are to take a CNA class or challenge the test. To challenge the test, please contact Headmaster at (406) 442-8656
- Interstate Endorsement Application
If you are currently certified in another state you can transfer your certification to Montana by completing an application and sending it in with a copy of your certification from the other state(s).
