- Sometimes people with a physical disability are prevented from participating in an outdoor recreational activity because of conditions such as lack of facilities, facilities in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or lack of transportation. Has this happened to YOU in Montana the in last 5 years?
NOTE: Numbers below represent frequency counts of
responses to each question. Data were collected during the 2002 calendar
year as a one-time project. Those counties with fewer than 30 respondents
per question have been grouped with an adjacent county, or several adjacent
counties, to bring the counts up to a more reliable level. The Outdoor
Recreation Survey was conducted as part of the Montana BRFSS telephone
survey and is unique. Therefore, these data should not be used for comparison
with other county surveys and should not be combined with other county
data for any purpose.
