Governor's Committee on Telecommunications Access

This committee oversees the operations of the Montana Telecommunications Access Program (MTAP), which provides assistive equipment for people whose disabilities make it hard for them to use a standard telephone. The committee was created by the Legislature in 1989. The governor appoints its 13 members, including two people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
