Children's Special Health Services Advisory Committee
This committee is made up of providers and consumers of health-care services for children. The group promotes short- and long-range planning to meet the needs of children who have been diagnosed or are at risk for a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition and who also require health and related services of a type and amount beyond that required by children generally. It advises the department on policymaking, as well as on planning, monitoring, and evaluating children's health care programs. The committee also helps to identify health care needs that are not being met.
