Informatics Subcommittee Members Needed!

DPHHS is adding a Public Health Informatics Subcommittee to the Public Health
Improvement Task Force. The effective use of data and information systems are playing an increasingly important role in public health practice and program implementation. Toward that end, the Public Health Improvement Task Force has approved the creation of a Public Health Informatics Subcommittee that will advise the State on important information systems issues and work as a liaison between the State and local agencies to better ensure that local priorities and needs are reflected in the information systems the State fields to local public health agencies.
Two representatives from each region will be selected for this committee.
