Dental Disease Prevention

The dental health program includes a variety of activities designed to prevent dental disease in targeted populations in the State. These activities include the administration and promotion of the school-based fluoride mouth rinse program, the monitoring of fluoride content of community water systems and the distribution of a limited supply of dental health resource material.

During the month of February, Children's Dental Health Month, material is developed for distribution to agencies and groups who request it, for use in the promotion of improved dental health for Montana's children.
