Neural Tube Defect / Spina Bifida Clinic
Children with neural tube defects of any type or degree are followed in this multidisciplinary clinic. Most neural tube defects are identified at birth, and the clinic assists with long-term management issues common to this diagnoses. The team generally includes a pediatric neurosurgeon, pediatric urologist, pediatric orthopedist and a pediatric nurse, geneticist, dietician, and counselor.
