Family & Community Health Bureau
Mission
To promote and improve the health and safety of Montana’s women, men, children, and families.
The maternal and child health (MCH) population encompasses women of childbearing age (15-44 years of age), pregnant women, infants, children, and youth with special health care needs and their families. The MCH population is of critical importance to the state and nation. Infants and children deserve a healthy start in life. The Family and Community Health Bureau (FCHB) has a major role in assuring that services and programs to support healthy growth and development are available and accessible to Montana's MCH population.
