Chronic Disease Prevention & Health Promotion
The Chronic Disease and Health Promotion Bureau include the Cardiovascular Health, Diabetes, and Nutrition and Physical Activity Section, the Cancer Control Section, the Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems Section, and the Tobacco Use Prevention Section. Programs within these Sections use surveillance, health status and health care service information to monitor important health conditions in Montana. This information is used to develop and implement evidence-based programs targeting these priorities to maintain and improve the health of Montanans.
