The Montana Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (MCCCP) is a supporting partner to the Montana Cancer Control Coalition (MTCCC).  Comprehensive Cancer Control is a collaborative process to reduce the burden of cancer.  The MTCCC developed the Montana Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) Plan as a guide for preventing and controlling cancer in Montana.

The Montana Cancer Surveillance and Epidemiology Program (CSEP) uses data from the Montana Central Tumor Registry, the Montana Office of Vital Statistics, and other sources to monitor trends in cancer incidence and mortality.  CSEP responds to inquiries from public health officials and private citizens about cancer concerns.  The Montana Central Tumor Registry (MCTR) is the primary source of cancer statistics (incidence, trends, and survival) in Montana and has been continuously collecting cancer information statewide since 1979.  The Registry’s goal is to collect, analyze, and disseminate quality cancer-related data to help reduce the burden of cancer in Montana.
